Where’s the White Rabbit?

Here are a few of my favorite photos from Wonderland!  I get the feeling that I’m not done taking Wonderland photos, but for the time being, these are what I have to show for my efforts!

Halfway through the shoot my kid-brother decided to invade the privacy of my secluded corner :D.  Of course I learned that brothers and croquet mallets don’t exactly mix, as you’ll soon find out!

I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed shooting them!

“The time has come, my little friends, to talk of other things

Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings

And why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wigs

Calloo, Callay, come run away, With the cabbages and kings.”

~Alice in Wonderland

These images were shot using my Sony A380 DSLR, one umbrella light, one tripod, and my handy-dandy remote control ;).

I’ve Been Framed…

…as a costume creator!

Here’s an image from my Alice in Wonderland shoot!

Random Fact: The apron I wore in my Wonderland shoot was in fact a white men’s dress shirt from Goodwill at one time!  Never underestimate the power for something to be Abundantly More!

The dress was $3.00 at Goodwill, the apron/dress shirt was $2.00, the shoes were from my closet, and the white tights were from Walmart.  Now go make something Abundantly More!  And don’t forget to share the results with me!

It’s Christmas TIEme!!!

I’m sitting here watching sappy Christmas movies, looking at the glorious glowing tree, and soaking in all of this great Christmas spirit!

Here is a great Christmas Tree Skirt, to help get you in the spirit, straight from my Necktie collection!

You can purchase it in my Etsy store, but I only have one available!!  So buy it before you have lost your chance!!!

Mad Mondays with Abundantly More

Mad Mondays!  Otherwise known as Mad Tuesdays this week.  My internet was acting like the Red Queen and screaming “Off with the bloody connection!!”, but I’m back!

My mad project of the week consisted of turning an ordinary box into a chalkboard box.  I purchased the chalkboard paint from Walmart, and the box was delivered to my front door via my favourite mail-order make-up samples (Birchbox).  I currently keep tea in the box, and have hence written “Drink Me” on top, in true Alice Fashion. My tea of the month is Camomile and Citrus from Mighty Leaf tea, it’s amazing.

I also spent the weekend concocting imaginative photos from my trip to Wonderland, and used my October 31st costume for one more adventure.  I should be getting the rest of the images up shortly, so keep a weather eye on the horizon!
